Text Styles Menu

In our Mac, Windows, and Web apps, you'll find all styling options by clicking on the right sidebar of a document.

On iOS, the Styling options can be accessed through the letter icon, visible whenever you select a Block to edit.

Applying Text Styles

You can easily apply any of the formatting options to a single or multiple blocks at once. First, select the block or blocks you would like to edit. Once they are highlighted, the styles you choose from the sidebar will be automatically adopted for those blocks:

It is also possible to apply any style to a whole block or set of blocks by searching the desired formatting option with the slash forward command. Type "/" in a block to search for styles and select it by clicking with your cursor or navigating with keyboard arrows + enter key.

By highlighting multiple blocks, you can quickly create different kinds of lists, such as tasks, toggles, bullets, or numbered lists.

Clearing Styles

After highlighting the content you want to edit, you can deselect the applied styles from the right sidebar to revert some or all the formatting of a text:

You can also select a set of blocks, hit the slash forward key and search for "Clear Styling" to completely revert all text formatting:

Text Formatting Tool Bar

When highlighting a text inside a block, the text formatting toolbar will automatically appear above the content - or above the keyboard panel, on an iOS. This can be an alternate and faster way to add bold, italic or strikethrough formatting to your text or make it glow up with one of our stunning gradient highlight options:

Page Style Menu

Apart from text formatting, you can customize your whole page in a variety of ways through the Page Style menu, also found in the right sidebar while inside a document. Here, you can add a cover image, colorful backgrounds or change the default font style for the entire document.

On iOS, you will find the Page Style options in the 3 dots menu in the corner of the screen, while inside a document:

Background and Cover Image

Add a cover image to any of your documents by selecting a photo from Unsplash or uploading your own from the device where Craft is being used.

For your Backgrounds, you can set your own colors for a gradient effect:

You can add any image to the page's background. The option to blur the background may help keep the visual focus on your content:
