Craft offers two types of free trials that allow new users to explore the features of the Plus plan. Below is an overview of each trial option, what happens after the trial ends, and additional trial options for Teams and Business plans.
Free Plus Trial for New Craft Accounts
When you create a new Craft account via the Web app, Windows app, Mac, or iOS, you’ll automatically receive a 14-day free trial of the Plus plan.
- No payment information is required, and there are no charges during the trial period.
- Enjoy full access to all Plus features during the trial.
- After 14 days, you’ll have the option to subscribe to Craft.
If you choose not to subscribe, simply do not provide any payment details—your account will automatically switch to the Starter (free) version with no action required.
Free Plus Trial via the App Store
If you download Craft through the App Store, you can also start a 14-day free trial of the Plus plan. Here’s how it works:
- No payment information is required unless you do not have a payment method set up in your App Store account.
- After the 14-day trial period, your subscription will automatically renew and you will be charged through your App Store account unless canceled.
If you do not wish to continue with the Plus plan, make sure to cancel the trial before it ends to avoid any charges. You can cancel by following Apple’s instructions for managing subscriptions.
Important Note:
The App Store only allows one trial period per account. If you’ve already used a trial with your account before, you will be charged the full amount for Plus as soon as you subscribe.
