Planning is more than a helpful habit—it’s the foundation for meaningful productivity.
Imagine starting each day with a clear list of priorities and a roadmap for what needs to be done. This approach reduces distractions, keeps you on track, and makes reaching your goals much more manageable.
In this article, we’ll dive into simple strategies for planning and show how Craft can transform the way you organise, prioritise, and accomplish your tasks.
Start your week with a planning session
Beginning your week by laying out your chores, aspirations and tasks for the upcoming days it's the first milestone for a more planned routine.
It's useful to segment your tasks between different areas, according to your liking and needs.

Tip: Try to focus on putting down only the essential or recurring tasks at first. Seeing a long list of tasks ahead of you can be overwhelming. Depending on your workflow, a list of 10-20 items could be ideal. Smaller victories will keep your morale up.
Define your priorities with schedules and deadlines
You can set specific schedules or deadlines to each of your tasks. Select the task block you'd like to assign a deadline or a schedule for and use the hovering toolbar to define the date:
Once the documents with your weekly goals are complete. Go to your Tasks section in Craft and pin those documents for a better overview:
Use Calendar to overview your tasks per day
Setting a schedule for your tasks is specially helpful cause it will automatically organise each of your to-dos according to the date you've set for them.
Thats where you'll see how separating your tasks among different documents with useful titles will come in handy, cause they will be visible right after the task item, along with the deadline:
Hover your cursor over the document's name to see a preview. Click on the document's name and select "Open" to navigate into it.
Set reminders for your critical Tasks
Make sure you're not skipping any of your key items by setting up reminders for them. The reminder option can also be found in the hovering toolbar after selecting the block with the desired task.
