Images

Craft does not compress the original size of images imported into a document. Opening the image in preview by taping or double-clicking should always render the full quality of the image file. That is also the case if the image is downloaded from Craft to a device. However, the image's thumbnail in a Craft document may have a lower resolution to preserve the app's performance. 

Craft supports the majority of image file extensions with the exception of: .webp. Those are currently treated as standard attachment blocks. 

Notes: Currently, if you upload .heic images through the web or Windows Craft apps, those will be presented as standard attachment blocks. 

Additionally, Craft does not convert .SVG files into images, to preserve their original vector data. They will also be presented as standard attachment blocks. 

 

How to rearrange images

By default, Craft will intuitively arrange images with similar sizes together if you place them side by side.

To rearrange images automatically grouped, move them to other blocks in the document or change the "Image Size" configuration from "Auto" to "Large" in the "..." menu:

Note: It is currently not possible to crop or edit uploaded images.
