How to Use Craft AI Assistant

Craft AI Assistant helps you write, edit, summarize, translate, and generate ideas within your documents. Whether you need to refine text, brainstorm content, or format your writing, the AI Assistant is here to streamline your workflow.

How to Activate and Use the AI Assistant

  1. Open a document in Craft (Mac, Web, Windows)
  2. Select a block or highlight all the content in a document
  3. Select the Craft AI assistant icon from the pop-up
    1. You can see the pop-up at the bottom of the document
    2. You can also find the Assistant under the three-dot menu on a block-level
    3. If you prefer a keyboard shortcut, use the cmd+return key combination.

On iOS, you can select the Assistant by selecting a block and swiping to the left in the menu:


 

How to Use AI Prompts

Once the AI Assistant is open, simply type your request in the input field or use any of the suggested prompts. The assistant will generate a response, which you can:

  • Copy the output for external use.
  • Insert the response directly into your document.
